2026 Alamosa Studio Tour and Exhibition

Alamosa Studio Tour: A self-guided tour that provides artists an opportunity to showcase their creative work and workspace to the art-loving public. This event is open to artists in the City of Alamosa area. To participate in the tour, you must commit to be personally present in your studio both Saturday and Sunday, September 12th and 13th from 10am – 4pm and have a studio or similar space where you create your artwork. All 2D and 3D fine art media are welcome (e.g., drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, fiber, jewelry, etc.).
Exhibition: Alamosa Studio Tour artists will also be invited to participate in an Exhibition at the SLV Regional Medical Center from August 17 to October 30. Each artist may exhibit up to two artworks. Exhibition information will be provided to artist once they register for the tour.

ARTISTS: must be committed to show during all event hours, both Saturday and Sunday from 10am – 4pm. Each artist must be present with their own work during the Studios \\ Tour hours.
ARTWORK: All 2D and 3D fine art media are welcome (e.g., drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, fiber, jewelry, etc.). All artwork must be original, designed and created by the artist, and be a professional quality. No artwork that is completely or partially generated by AI is permitted. Selling or reselling commercially manufactured, wholesale, minimally embellished, assembled kits/models, or purely functional items is not permitted.
EVENT FEE: Registration Fee: is $20.00. Registration fees are non-refundable. The fees will be used solely to cover the cost of the event website, event, promotion, and promotional materials, and signage for each artist’s studio. Once you have registered, you will receive an email with a link to pay online. If you prefer to pay by cash or check, please contact michael@mjliebhaber.com to make arrangements.
ARTIST STUDIO: A studio is a space inside or outside your home where you regularly create your art. The space may not be a place that simply displays your artwork. Commercial storefronts, showrooms, galleries, cafés, or similar venues that are regularly open to the public during business hours are not eligible to participate, unless the artist’s primary studio is within the storefront area. Alamosa Studio Tour is not responsible for any theft, personal injuries or property damage sustained by third parties (including those of guests and invitees) at the artist’s studio.
PROMOTION: Artists are encouraged to invite your own email contacts, advertise on your own social media. Alamosa Studio Tour will also promote the event citywide and provide participating artists with promotional material. The tour website is www.alamosaopenstudios.com. Please share this web link with other artists you may know, family, friends, and other people interested in your work.
IMAGES: Artists must provide one JPEG image of their artwork for use on the event website.
EXHIBITION: Each participating artist will also have the opportunity to exhibit one piece \ at the SLV regional Medical Center for three months. Details about the exhibition will be provided to each artist once they are registered.
